Air Horn Removal Dyno Results

Below is a comparison of torque vs torque and hp vs hp with my best runs before and after the air horns were removed. As you can see, the results aren't terribly positive. Overall, as I stated on my Air Horn Removal page, there isn't a noticeable difference in driveability and it does seem to come on stronger in the higher rpm ranges. Some of the power loss could be offset by my Ram Air system, which isn't measured on the dyno.

The dyno graph's from Nov. 14th have my best run from 2.10 and both runs from 11.14. For Torque and HP graph, click here. For the HP graph, click here. When you look at these charts, notice that the max hp and tq on the chart below are different from the linked graph's. Don't know why, but it makes a true comparison of before and after air horn removal a little difficult!
